Personal Injury

In the state of California, acupuncturists are considered primary care providers and are therefore authorized to provide services in personal injury claims. Acupuncture has had proven success with many types of injuries including neck and back pain to name a few. Acupuncture is a covered service for many personal injury claims and your medical coverage with many auto insurance policies.

If you have been in an auto accident or sustained an injury, come see an acupuncturist to help reduce your pain, stress and anxiety associated with the event.

If you have been involved in an automobile accident, here are the steps to take:

1. Call your auto insurance company to inform them of the accident and your injuries. Ensure you get a police report and obtain all necessary documentation from the other party involved; such as insurance information, identification card and contacts. Seek medical attention as soon as possible.

2. Call your representative to see whose insurance policy (yours or the other person(s) involved) is responsible for your personal injury claim. Establish what limits you have on the policy that will be covering your claim and whether or not acupuncture is a covered benefit.

3. Call Tiffany so that she can make arrangements with your attorney or insurance company, to ensure your benefits are covered. Be sure to provide her with:

a. The Name of the Insurance Company as well as the Address, Phone Number and Fax

b. The Insurance Policy Number

c. Your Claim Number

d. Your Claim Representative's Name and Phone Number
